I don't see a First Choice network physiotherapist. Am I still covered?
Yes. You can keep seeing your current recognised physiotherapist and your physiotherapy cover and annual limit will stay the same. From 13 January 2027, you’ll receive a set amount back for each eligible service if your physiotherapist isn’t part of the First Choice network. Ask your physiotherapist for a quote or estimate before treatment so you know what you may get back and what you may need to pay out of pocket.
The First Choice physiotherapy network already includes more than 3,500 providers across Australia. If your current physiotherapist isn’t in the network yet, it’s worth checking back, as we’re continuing to invest in and expand the First Choice network. They can also register their interest in joining the First Choice network directly with us.
