Promotion Terms and Conditions:
1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Headings in this document are included for ease of reference, and do not affect interpretation in any way.
2. The promoter is Qantas Airways Limited (ABN 16 009 661 901) of 10 Bourke Road, Mascot, NSW 2020 (Telephone: 13 11 31) (Promoter).
Duration
3. All references to time in this document are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the date stated. The promotion commences at 12:01am (AEDT) on Tuesday 30 January 2024 and closes at 11:59pm (AEDT) on Friday 5 April 2024. (Promotion Period).
Eligibility to enter
4a) Entry into the promotion is open only to Australian residents who are Qantas Frequent Flyer members 18 years of age or older, and excludes:
i) directors, management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and registered travel companions of employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate; and
ii) customers who have held a health insurance policy with nib, AAMI Health Insurance, Apia Health Insurance, GU Health, Suncorp Health Insurance, ING, Priceline, Real Health Insurance or Seniors Health Insurance at any time between 30 July 2023 and 5 April 2024;
iii) customers who have held a health insurance policy with Qantas at any time between 30 January 2023 and 5 April 2024.
b) Eligible Entrants must have a valid email address or mobile number linked to their Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

5. Qantas Health Insurance is issued by nib health funds limited ABN 83 000 124 381 (nib) a registered private health insurer, and is arranged by Qantas Airways Limited ABN 16 009 661 901 (Qantas), for which Qantas receives commission.
Entry into the promotion
6. Eligible Entrants will receive the following entries into the Promotion:
a) Eligible Entrants will automatically receive one entry into the draw when they obtain a Qantas Health Insurance quote and quote their Qantas Frequent Flyer number during the Promotion Period (maximum of one entry for the primary policy holder who gets a quote);
7. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Drawing of entries
9. The draw will take place at 10:00am (AEST) on Thursday 11 April 2024 at Mike Da Silva & Associates (Australia) Pty Ltd at, Level 16, 1 Denison Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. The draw will be conducted by MDSA (Drawer).
10. The result of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prizes
11. The first Eligible Entry drawn will be the Major Prize winner, and the next fifteen (15) Eligible Entries drawn will be the Minor Prize winners. The first winner will receive one Qantas Holidays Wellness Retreat voucher to the value of AU$15,000 (Voucher). The next 15 winners will receive one Qantas Hotels & Holidays voucher each to the value of AU$2,000 (Voucher). The Vouchers are valid until 11 April 2027 and can be used for part or full payment of your booking with Qantas Hotels or Qantas Holidays. The Voucher can only be used once, and any unused portion of the Voucher will be forfeited. If after using your Voucher there is a balance remaining to be paid, you must pay this balance with a credit/charge card or through the use of Qantas Points if you are a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. If you make a change to your booking, any applicable change fees will need to be paid by you with a credit/charge card. If the value of your revised booking is greater than the original booking, you will be required to pay the difference with a credit/charge card to secure your revised booking. If the value of your revised booking is less than the original booking, you will be refunded the difference to the original method of payment (up to a maximum of the amount paid in cash or Qantas Points - any amount paid using a Voucher is non-refundable). If you cancel your booking, the value of the Voucher will not be refunded and no replacement Voucher will be issued. Any booking cancellation fees cannot be paid for using the Voucher, and will be payable by you with a credit/charge card. Vouchers are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Vouchers may be transferred, but are not valid if sold
12. The maximum total prize pool value is AU$45,000. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
13. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. The prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner accepts the conditions of use of the prize.
14. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Notification of the winner
15. The winners will be notified by email and phone (as noted on their Qantas Frequent Flyer account) within 2 business days of the draw and their names will be published on https://insurance.qantas.com/help-and-support/health-insurance/quote-competition-jan2024 from Thursday 18 April 2024 for a period of 28 days and announced in The Australian newspaper on Thursday 18 April 2024.
Right of the Promoter to redraw
16. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these promotion terms and conditions, or forfeiting, or not claiming the prize. If a prize remains unclaimed at 5:00pm (AEST) on Thursday 11 July 2024, a second chance draw will be conducted by the Drawer on Thursday 18 July 2024 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any written direction given under applicable law. The winner/s determined in accordance with this clause will be notified by email and phone within 2 business days after the draw and their name/s will be published on https://insurance.qantas.com/help-and-support/health-insurance/quote-competition-jan2024 from Thursday 25 July 2024 for a period of 28 days and announced in The Australian newspaper on Thursday 25 July 2024.
Limitation of liability and variation of terms
17. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. The Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
18. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents (Promotion Parties) will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, including but not limited to any breach of these terms and conditions, contract or tort (including negligence) and any other common law, equitable or statutory remedy (Damages) whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential Damages, including Damages that cannot reasonably be considered to arise naturally and in the ordinary course of things, even if those Damages were in the contemplation of the Promotion Parties.
19. The exclusion of liability in clause 18 does not apply to limit or exclude liability:
a) for personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with the supply of goods or services which are supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business. To remove doubt, third party goods or services, which other than in connection with this promotion, are in the normal course of business supplied by a third party unrelated to the Promotion Parties, are not supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business; or
