About the Flood Disaster Relief package

Supporting our Qantas Health Insurance members with disaster relief

Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the recent flooding in QLD and NSW. To help support our affected Qantas Health Insurance members, we’re offering a Flood Disaster Relief Package to help provide some financial relief during this difficult time. What is the Flood Disaster Relief Package? 

Eligible Qantas Health Insurance members in flood-affected areas can access extra financial hardship support beyond our standard assistance measures. This support includes a 30-day health insurance premium waiver; and the option to suspend your policy for three months.  

The relief package will be available for members from 4 March 2022, with your premium waiver or policy suspension effective from the date you apply.

Am I eligible for the Flood Disaster Relief Package? 

The premium waiver will be available to Qantas Health Insurance  members who: 

*Eligible Qantas Health Insurance members include Australian Residents Health Insurance members.

The relief package is available to eligible members until 30 April 2022. If you have any questions, please call us on 13 49 60  and ask for ‘financial relief’. We’ll be happy to talk through your options with you.

Members are encouraged to call us and ask for 'financial relief' to discuss their options.
