How do I make a Qantas Travel Insurance claim?

Travel insurance claims can be lodged 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by:

Online: Log in to our claims portal and follow the prompts to lodge your claim.

Email: Download a claim form, provide details of your claim and email it to us at

Call us: 1800 954 017 (within Australia) or +61 3 9522 4839 (from overseas), Monday to Friday 8 am to 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 4 pm.

Before you make a claim, please have the following information handy:

  • your policy number
  • details of what’s happened including any costs associated
  • copies of any receipts or supporting documentation
  • police report number (if applicable)
  • account details (to make the claim payment to).
