What is the health insurance referral bonus?

If you’re happy with Qantas Health Insurance, we want you to tell your family and friends!

Refer a friend to Qantas Health Insurance, and if they take out combined Hospital and Extras cover, you could both earn 5,000 Qantas Points.* 

Just find your unique referral code by following the instructions below, and then send it to your friends, for them to use when they sign up online or by calling us on 13 49 60.

Once your friend has held combined Hospital and Extras cover continuously for 60 days, you’ll each have 5,000 Qantas Points credited to your QFF account. 

This offer is not available if your friend has: held a Qantas Health Insurance policy at any time in the previous 12 months; if they have held a health insurance policy with nib, AAMI Health Insurance, Apia Health Insurance, GU Health, Suncorp Health Insurance, ING Health Insurance, Priceline Health Insurance, Real Health Insurance or Seniors Health Insurance at any time in the previous 6 months before purchasing an Eligible Health Policy, or if they sign up with Qantas Health Insurance during an ‘up to 130,000’ or more sign-on Qantas Points offer. Your unique code can be used up to 10 times in a year.

  2. Click the 'Refer a Friend' tile on the “Challenges” tab

* Where a Qantas Frequent Flyer member (Referrer) successfully refers another member (Referee) to purchase a Qantas Health Insurance policy with combined Hospital and Extras cover (Eligible Health Policy), both the Referrer and the Referee can earn 5,000 Qantas Points. For the Referrer and Referee to earn Qantas Points, the Referee must purchase their Eligible Health Policy through the Qantas website or Qantas call centre and quote the Referrer’s unique referral code. Points will be credited once the Referee has held their Eligible Health Policy for 60 continuous days, and the Referee has paid all amounts owing in connection with their policy.
