Eligible Entrants

Entry is open to:

  • Australian residents;
  • Qantas Frequent Flyer members 18 years of age or older, with a valid email address or mobile number linked to their Qantas Frequent Flyer account; and
  • Entrants who are not directors, management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and registered travel companions of employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate.

Entry Procedure

To receive an automatic entry to the Promotion, Eligible Entrants must, take out and maintain a Qantas Car or Home Insurance policy as a primary policyholder for 60 continuous days (Eligible Policy) and quote their Qantas Frequent Flyer number. By entering, Eligible Entrants also agree to accept these Competition Terms and Conditions.

Maximum Number of Entries

Eligible Entrants will receive a maximum of one entry for each Eligible Policy.

Prize

The Prizes consist of:

  • 50 x $1000 bp gift cards 

The bp gift cards are issued by and remain the property of BP Australia Pty Ltd ABN 53 004 085 616 (BP). By using the bp gift card, you agree to be bound by bp’s terms and conditions. For more information about bp gift cards click here. 

Each winner will receive one Prize.

Maximum Total Prize Pool

The maximum total Prize pool value is AU$50,000, based on the recommended retail value at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prizes.

Draw Details

The draw will take place at 10:00am AEST on Wednesday 3 June 2026 at MDSA, Level 16, 1 Denison Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter or other company as applicable (Draw).

The result of the Draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Notification of Winners

The winner(s) will be notified by email and phone (as noted on their Qantas Frequent Flyer account) within 2 business days of the draw from the end of the Promotion Period and their first initials, surnames, and postcodes will be published in [https://insurance.qantas.com/help-and-support/general-insurance/bp-join-competition-2026-terms-and-conditions] from Monday 8 June 2026 for a minimum of 30 days.

Redemption Date

5:00pm AEST on Wednesday 2 September 2026

Redraw Details

The redraw will take place on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at the same time and place as the original draw. The redraw will be conducted by the Promoter or other company as applicable (Redraw).

The result of the Redraw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Notification of Redraw Winners

The Redraw winners will be notified by email and phone within 2 business days after the Redraw and their first initials, surnames, and postcodes will be published in [https://insurance.qantas.com/help-and-support/general-insurance/bp-join-competition-2026-terms-and-conditions] from Monday 8 June 2026 for a minimum of 30 days.

Website

Means the website on which the Promotion is available for entry.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Key Terms and these terms and conditions (together, the Terms) make up the rules for an Eligible Entrant’s participation in the Promotion. By participating, the Eligible Entrant accepts these Terms. Headings in this document are included for ease of reference, and do not affect interpretation in any way.
  2. To enter the Promotion, Eligible Entrants must complete the Entry Procedure during the Promotion Period.
  3. Eligible Entrants may enter the Promotion up to the Maximum Number of Entries.
  4. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries. 
  5. The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the entry is received by the Promoter.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.  Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 

Prizes

  1. The Prize(s) are specified in the Key Terms.
  2. Each Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the Prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A Prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a Prize that the winner accept the conditions of use of that Prize.
  3. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, for reasons outside the control of the Promoter, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a Prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  4. The Prize(s) must be claimed by the Redemption Date set out in the Key Terms, or it will be forfeited by the winner.

Right of the Promoter to redraw

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of an Eligible Entrant being unable to satisfy these Terms or forfeiting or not claiming a Prize within a reasonable timeframe from the date of notification. For any Prize that remains unclaimed after the Redemption Date, a second draw will be conducted by the Draw in accordance with the Redraw Details in the Key Terms. 

Limitation of liability and variation of terms

  1. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. In this scenario, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate,modify or suspend this Promotion at any time without notice.
  2. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents (Promotion Parties) will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of this Promotion, the advertisement of this Promotion or the use of any Prize, including but not limited to any breach of these Terms, contract or tort (including negligence) and any other common law, equitable or statutory remedy (Damages) whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential Damages, including Damages that cannot reasonably be considered to arise naturally and in the ordinary course of things, even if those Damages were in the contemplation of the Promotion Parties.
  3. The exclusion of liability in the above clause does not apply to limit or exclude liability: 

a. for personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with the supply of goods or services which are supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business; or

b. to the extent it is not permissible at law to limit or exclude liability in the manner contemplated in that clause (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law). 

Entry details and privacy

  1. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. The name of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the Prize. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using personal information provided in connection with this Promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Promotion and awarding any Prizes (including to third parties involved in the Promotion and any applicable statutory authorities) and to conduct marketing activities. Without limiting the foregoing, entrants’ personal information provided in connection with this Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, visit www.qantas.com/privacy to obtain a copy.
