What if I order optical items before 13 January 2027?
If you order and claim an optical item that you’re covered for before 13 January 2027, benefits will be calculated the same way that they are today. For purchases from 13 January 2027, what you get back may be different if your optical provider is outside the First Choice network.
To help avoid any surprises, ask your optical provider for the item numbers and prices before ordering on or after 13 January 2027. Then you can contact us, and we’ll help you understand how much we may pay and what out-of-pockets you may have.
