What if I am already undergoing treatment?

If you currently receive physiotherapy treatment from a non-First Choice network provider, you may be eligible for transitional support until 31 March 2027.

For transitional support purposes, a treatment plan is a documented plan of care that you and your physiotherapist agreed to before 13 January 2027 and that requires ongoing treatment over multiple visits.

Am I eligible?

Your treatment plan must meet the criteria below. You must provide an invoice and a treatment plan showing that your course of treatment:

  • commenced before 13 January 2027, or
  • was documented after 13 January 2027 but clearly shows that the course of treatment started before 13 January 2027.

You must receive the treatment on or before 31 March 2027.

What do I need to provide?

Submit a claim through your member account, including a copy of your treatment plan from your physiotherapist and an invoice showing that your treatment commenced before 13 January 2027.

How will my claims be paid?

If you're eligible for transitional support, we’ll continue to pay for your eligible physiotherapy treatment with a non-First Choice network provider under your current percentage back benefits until 31 March 2027.
