How can I find the set benefit before I buy from a non-First Choice network optical provider?

We’ve listed the set benefit amounts for some commonly claimed optical items here. As this isn’t a complete list of optical items, the easiest way to check the benefit for your planned purchase is to ask your optical provider for item numbers and prices for the items you plan to buy. This will help you understand what you may get back and any out-of-pocket costs before you purchase. Non-First Choice providers set their own prices, so your out-of-pocket cost will depend on what they charge for your items.   

Your cover and annual limits remain the same no matter which optical provider you see, as long as they’re a recognised provider in Australia.
