How can I earn Qantas Points with Qantas Travel Insurance?
You could earn Qantas Points for purchasing Qantas Travel Insurance in two ways:
Earn up to 15,000 Qantas Points when you purchase a policy by 28 August. All policies earn Qantas Points. To earn the maximum amount of points a min. spend of $1,000 applies. Points will be awarded up to 6 weeks from departure.
Earn 1 Qantas Point for every $1 spent on your premium.

How can I use Qantas Points with Qantas Travel Insurance?
Qantas Frequent Flyer members can use Qantas Points to acquire a Qantas Travel Insurance policy when making a Qantas flight booking through qantas.com. Members must have the total Qantas Points value available in their Qantas Frequent Flyer account and cannot use Points Plus Pay.
The number of Qantas Points required to take out a Qantas Travel Insurance policy is subject to change.
Note: It may take up to 4 hours after your booking confirmation for your Qantas Points transaction to be processed via qantas.com. Once payment using Qantas Points has been successfully processed, you’ll receive an email confirming your travel insurance purchase including your policy details. If there are any issues processing your Qantas Points payment, you’ll receive an email with instructions for how to complete the purchase via the Qantas Insurance website.
