Comprehensive cover for emergency overseas medical and trip cancellation if you or someone you’re travelling with is diagnosed with COVID-19.
Emergency Medical Expenses
Unlimited cover for emergency overseas medical expenses if you get sick (including COVID-19 diagnosis) or injured while on your trip.
Cancellation Costs
Unlimited cover for trip cancellation costs if you get sick (including if you are diagnosed with COVID-19) before or while you’re on your trip.
Rental car excess
Up to $8,000 (per policy) to cover the insurance excess if you have an accident or if the car is stolen.
Luggage & personal effects
Up to $15,000 cover if your luggage is lost, stolen or damaged while travelling, plus up to $1,600 to replace any essentials if your luggage is delayed by at least 6 hours.

What's not covered
- Epidemics or pandemics (except for benefits that specify cover for COVID-19 diagnosis).
- Government imposed travel restrictions.
- Medical conditions that are not automatically covered by our policy, or you have not applied and been approved for optional Existing Medical Conditions cover.
- Luggage that’s left unattended.
- Costs for any routine pre-natal care at any stage of pregnancy, and costs for childbirth or post-natal care if you are more than 26 weeks pregnant at the start of or during your trip.
- Extreme or competition sports.
- Snow sports such as skiing unless you purchase the Snow Sports option.
- Destinations that have “Level 4 – Do Not Travel” warnings or are under sanctions.

Snow Sports Cover
Cover for snow sports such as skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing while on your trip. It provides cover for emergency overseas medical costs if you’re injured during a snow sports activity, as well as costs for damaged equipment, pre-paid lift passes, lessons or ski gear hire and if the ski field is closed.
Specified Items Cover
Cover for items valued higher than our standard benefit limits if they are lost, stolen or damaged on your trip. Items that can be listed include smartphones, laptops, camera equipment and sporting equipment. Sub-limits apply to individual items that can be covered under this option.
Existing Medical Conditions
Cover for existing medical conditions that are not automatically covered under our policy. You can complete the online medical screening when you’re purchasing the policy and we’ll tell you immediately if we can cover your conditions and if there is an additional premium payable.
Do you travel often?
Why not consider our Annual Multi Trip policy? Designed for frequent travellers with cover for an unlimited number of trips within Australia and overseas in a 12-month period. Each trip can be up to a maximum of 45 days. Trips within Australia must be more than a 100 km radius from your home or usual place of work in Australia.
