Qantas Australian Travel Insurance “highly commended” at the Finder Travel Insurance Awards 2025

For the second year running, Qantas Travel Insurance was recognised as “highly commended” in the Finder Travel Insurance Awards 2025 .

As an independent awards program that celebrates the best travel insurance products across the country, the Finder Awards aim to uncover the best value on offer for everyday Australians.

Qantas Travel Insurance was highly commended for its domestic travel insurance, which offers a range of optional add-ons, and Qantas Points for taking out a policy.

How does Finder score travel insurance?

Finder reviewed more than 30 different travel insurance providers to select the winners and highly commended Finder Product Award winners for 2025.

The team assessed single trip products for 14 features, including price, and quotes were collected for 20 year old, 40 year old and 60 year old single travellers, averaging the quotes to determine the price score per product.

Qantas Travel Insurance scored highly because it offers customers flexibility, including optional extras such as Snow Sports Cover. Customers also have the freedom to cancel their policies within 21 days of purchasing as long as they haven’t made a claim or left for their trip.
