Qantas Health Insurance has earned a highly commended award at the 2023 Finder Awards.
For the second year running, Qantas Health Insurance Silver Hospital was a finalist in the Best Health Insurance – Silver Hospital category.
As part of its comprehensive analysis, Finder analysed 38 coverable treatment categories in the Silver Hospital Category. It looked at policies from all states and territories across 4 life stages: single, couple, family and single parent.
After the results were collected, it was easy to see why Qantas Health Insurance Silver Hospital placed in the top 3 out of all the eligible silver policies Finder reviewed.
Qantas Health Insurance’s mid-weight policy comes with 32 hospital services included. This is far above the government’s minimum of 26 treatments for silver-tier policies.
It includes all the services offered with its Bronze Hospital policies, but it goes further by offering cover for more expensive treatments too.
The surgeries covered with Qantas Health Insurance Silver Hospital include heart and skin conditions, digestive issues, joint reconstructions and dental surgery, among others.
In addition to policy features, Finder looked at pricing to work out an overall value score. Qantas Health Insurance was competitive on price, with its policy costing around $25 per week.
Furthermore, Qantas Health Insurance is the only health insurance provider in Australia that lets you earn Qantas Points.
Eligible customers have the chance to earn 1 Qantas Point for every $1 spent on their premium. Additionally, you can earn up to 12,000 points a year by staying physically active and tracking your activity with the Qantas Wellbeing App.
Plus, there are attractive points offers available for new members when signing up to any policy.
