How do I make a home insurance claim?

Making a claim with Qantas Home Insurance is easy. Simply follow the steps below. We’re with you every step of the way.

  1. Take all reasonable steps to prevent or minimise further loss, damage or liability;
  2. Report any theft (or attempted theft), or malicious damage to the police as soon as possible;
  3. Lodge your claim by calling 13 49 60 or visit us online. Please have your policy number and the details of your handy. 

If lodging online, we’ll review your claim and come back to you within 2 days of lodging your claim. If we have any additional questions, we’ll contact you and advise of the next steps.
