Will the Australian Government Rebate change ?

The Australian Government has confirmed there will not be any changes made to the Australian Government Rebate on private health insurance this year (2022), and so you do not need to do anything.

The rebate levels applicable from 1 April 2021* are:

Single parents and couples (including de facto couples) are subject to family tiers. For families with children, the income thresholds are increased by $1,500 for each child after the first.

*The income thresholds are indexed and will remain the same to 30 June 2023.
