Rate changes - Things you need to know

Each year, private health insurers across Australia apply to the Federal Minister for Health to review their premiums to keep up with the growing cost of healthcare and claims expenses.

To help reduce financial pressure on our members as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we’ve postponed this year’s health insurance premium increase from 1 April 2022 until 1 September 2022.

You can continue to make your health insurance more rewarding every day by downloading the Qantas Wellbeing App and earning Qantas Points by keeping active*.

*The Qantas Wellbeing App (the App) is available to Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) members aged 13 years of age and over. The number of Qantas Points offered on activities in the App may vary depending on the Eligible Qantas Product/s the member holds. See the Wellbeing Program Terms and Conditions for details. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the QFF Terms and Conditions. A joining fee usually applies, however this will be waived when signing up via the App. Qantas Points earned with the App will be credited to the App user’s QFF account fortnightly. Qantas may amend or withdraw points offers on activities in the App at any time.
